What is the area of a circle that has a radius of 1/2/3 yards? Use 22/7 for p.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2/3 as in .5/3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the area of a circle is pi*r^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 and two thrids

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

@greenshortie, each of the questions you are asking can be solved in the exact same way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but this is radious

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the radius is 1 and two thirds and we know that pi=22/7 then just multiply pi*(r)^2 substituting r for 1/(2/3) and pi for 22/7
