hi evry one.what does convergence and divergence mean in terms of sequences and series? will appreciate ur help.

We say that an infinite sequence is convergent if the terms approach some fixed value as we go further in the series, and divergent if not.
For series, it is convergent if the partial sums approach some fixed value as we continue to add more and more terms, and divergent if not.
