can someone help me understand what this is asking?? Take the paragraphs you wrote on good and bad teaching and the introductory and concluding paragraphs from the last section, and bring them all together in one convincing and interesting essay. Make sure you use good transitions between paragraphs. Your essay must have at least those four paragraphs,. but you may find that your original body paragraphs are not exactly right for the essay. You may need to change them a little, and you may decide you need additional paragraphs to make it work well
Is a teacher really mean, nice, great, or bad? Why would we classify them as this? Is it because of how they act, or teach? Well classifying them in those areas can be right or wrong, depends how you look at it really. I for one have had a great teacher and a really bad teacher. In my opinion/through my experience here's what I think a good/ great teacher really is. The best teacher by far would have to be my 8th grade science teacher, Mr. Rohlik. Any time someone struggled, he would help without giving the answers, and he would help us teach ourselves and learn how to think for an answer. He had us read out of the big book like maybe 2/5 times a week, and if you weren’t the best reader, he would have you read, just not as much. I for one am not a very strong reader when I read out loud. He had lots of activities to help us learn about our new sections, and to help us better understand the material better. He had a great sense of humor, and he was great with everybody. But he did have the moments of irritation. Every Monday, we sat in a group circle and went around telling about our weekends, I think that helped get to know our classmates better and it defiantly help my weeks go by fast. He was a very chill kind of guy. He had 2 children, both very young, and always had great funny story's to tell. He is married. He was one of the few teachers that help a lot of my trust, you could pretty much tell him anything. He was a very passionate man about his job. That is what I think makes a great teacher, Mr. Rohlik. Now, the other teacher I'm going to explain is what I think is a bad teacher. I had this teacher twice, once in fourth grade, and once in sixth. She had no sense of humor, and she was a very bitter women. She never told us anything really about her so the only thing the class knew, is how she treated us/acted. The teacher I will be talking about is going to be Ms. Osborn. She was a very boring, dull, always gloomy kind of women. She always made us read from the book, everyday. If you weren't a strong reader, she'd make you read the most. It always felt like she was picking on you. Every day there was an assignment, which I didn't mind, but it was always due the next day. If you didn't get it turned it, she would make a big seen. She always got so angry so easy. She picked favorites, and made sure you knew who they were. If you asked her a question, she'd tell you to ask another student or figure it out yourself. It was a pretty big waste of time to even think to ask her anything. She was very impatient, which was really bad for me, and a lot of the others. She was my worst teacher, I don’t think any one could compare to her. Definition of a good teacher: he will show you how to teach yourself, he is the one that always wanted to be where hes at in life, and someone who loves kids, his job, and passionate about teaching. That is what I think makes a good teacher. Definition of a bad teacher: someone who use their own power for their own benefit, or pleasure at the expense of students. Someone unfair, and thinks highly of themselves. So as you can see every teacher will teach differently, some way better than others. It a good thing for this, but, sometimes you just got to put up with the ones that are not so good at teaching, and pull through. It would be great if all teachers had the same idea on teaching.
