how do you find the HEIGHT and then volume of a triangular pyramid? you'll get a medal if it's right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to have one more known quantity, lets say the surface area. Its not possible to solve when you have two unknowns

Directrix (directrix):

The volume of a triangular pyramid is (1/3) the area of its base times the height of the pyramid. I'm wondering if your question is really about how to get the height of a pyramid if you know its slant height. I'm just guessing.
