A carpenter has two pieces of oak trim. one piece of trim is 3 4/5ft long and the other is 2 3/10ft long. estimate how many feet of oak trim she has in all. then find the exact answer.

As an estimate, I'd say she has about 4 feet + 2 feet, so around 6 feet. That should be close because 3 4/5 is 1/5 shy of 4 and 2 is 3/10 less than 2 3/10. for the actual addition, what would be your answer (or where are you blocking?)
