i was just taught how to do it ... they are similar shapes so ..

4/17=2/x
cross multiply and solve for x ... x=8.5

Small triangle:
MH =4
AT=2

Big Triangle:
RS=17
OK=x

so we have

MH----RS
AT----OK

so...
4-----2
17-----x

now use cross multiply
4x=17*2
4x=34
x=34/4
x=8.5
