I am supposed to calculate the final intensity but the initial intensity is not given so I am supposed to use a normalized unit value for the input source intensity?? What does that mean???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this normalized factor has units?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

taken normal value ,

that is linear system so in engineering you have to calculate every final as a output with unit initial condition so you will get unique response or percentage or nominal final. for example we used to find unit step response or unit ramp response.then if we would like to know for k times initial we have to multiple k or k^2 (for energy)to nominal.
