The sume of the dice cannot be odd if both the dice show 5, so I'll assume you have two different questions. Look at the figure attached. 1) Out of the 36 possible outcomes, the sum is odd on 18 occasions, so the probability will be 18/36 which equals 1/2 2) The probability of both dice showing five is 1/36

Well it is two questions but there together,.. im not sure what im suposed to put,. the 1/2 or 1/36.
