If you leave a candy bar in your car for a few hours in August, what process causes it to melt on the dashboard? A. Conduction of the Sun through the windshield. B. Radiation from the Sun heating the seats. C. Convection of the Sun through the tires. D. Radiation of the Sun through the windshield
First, this belongs to chimistry section. Then, it's D)
woops i didnt know i put it in the math section, sorry! and thank you, i didnt know if it was A or D.
The difference between A and D is that A states the heat of the sun hit the windshield and it transfers the heat to the bar. Although conduction process need to be a direct contact. Sun's particles travels through the windshield and hit the bar, the light will be changed to heat. That's why it's not conduction but radiation.
okay that makes sense!!
thank you!!!
