What are the magnitude and direction of the electric force on an electron in a uniform electric field of strength 2360 N/C that points due east? I understand the calculation of F = QE = 3.78 x 10^-16 How do I determine the direction?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

direction of force is opposite as direction of field. F = QE ,and Q = 1.6*10^-19

OpenStudy (experimentx):

the direction of force is opposite of the field because our charge is negative. and the field flows from positive to negative.

awesome, that clears up things! thanks
