Can someone please help me with some Environmental Science questions?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Where's your problem? im not sure that i can help, but i can try..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is CO2? What is (CH2O)n? What is C6H12O6?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\(CO_2\) is actually Carbon Dioxide.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

co2 is carbondioxide, it's what we exhale.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that the kind of answer you need?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

And tress exhale too but at night. It's about 0.03% present in atmosphere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the other two?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

The second one is carbohydrates.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c6h12o6 is glucose, it's a part of sugar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Amazing. Can you help me with some more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Energy is ______ in photosynthesis and _______ in respiration stored/released released/stored stored/stored released/released

OpenStudy (anonymous):

energy is stored in the form of food by photosynthesis and in respiration this energy is released to free form.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you & do you know the equation for photosynthesis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

respiration: glucose = water + ATP as far as i remember

OpenStudy (anonymous):

glucose + oxygon = CO2 + ATP + water

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why not...... simple reaction ---- 6CO2 + 6 H2O ____ ( in presence of light) -------> C6 H12 O6 ( carbohydrates) + 6 O2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but really why not just wiki it? look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_respiration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it will be a better option for details.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank both of yahl for the help.

OpenStudy (kainui):

I think the main thing to take away from this is that plants take in energy from the sun and put it into a molecule we call sugar. Sugar is full of energy ready to be used, and that's why we eat plants, because rocks aren't full of energy to consume since they're not busy putting energy into themselves for food!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can anyone help me with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

44: E

OpenStudy (kainui):

I'd help more, but you're going to have to ask better questions rather than just showing us your homework and asking us to do it. What about it do you not understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and most of those questions i bet you could find the answer for in your text book

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or search google for krebs cycle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

44_ a - glycolysis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont understand why everyone on here jumps to the gun. Did i say "can someone give me the answers" No, all i asked for was help. Its a study guide therefore i dont have a text book. But i clearly understand this place is pull if rude people. So thanks for the help, but i dont need anymore.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*full *of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand where you're coming from, it's just that there are a lot of people who come here just for the answers

OpenStudy (kainui):

Not being rude, you literally just posted your sheet of questions without any questions yourself. That's not asking a question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Seriously? If you would of gave me time to ask questions i had plans on it. But you blew up all of a sudden! So. @Kainui & i understand that. @BountyThief

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kainui and if you would of read what was above the attachment, it says "can anyone HELP me with this" not hey got any answers. So you came off as being rude!

OpenStudy (kainui):

Reread what I wrote above. I asked you to clarify what you needed help with so that I could help you. I'm not blowing up, my metabolism isn't that good to break the bonds in the glucose I've eaten that quickly to cause my spontaneous combustion anyways. I assure you it's scientifically improbable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im sitting here asking help with this kind of stuff? & you go and use all the words in one sentence, like i understand what all ^ junk is? No! Very clever!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol kaimui

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would give that answer a medal had i not givne one already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no offense to you pamelaa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This place is honestly worse than Facebook? Full of smart retrices. Pretty ridiculous!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you don't have to be so sensitive about it pamelaa, it's online, expect people to be atleast a little misunderstanding

OpenStudy (anonymous):
