Cellular respiration generates a total of 36-38 ATP molecules. How many of these come solely from glycolysis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only 8 ATP molecules ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 NADH+H , 2ATP & 2 Pyruvate /Per glucose molecule. NADH+H = 2.5ATP So.. 7 ATP + 2 Pyruvate. Different text books says diffrent of value of NADH+H & FADH2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

direct synthesis - 4 ATP In ETS from 2 (NADH+H) - 6 ATP From FADH2 - no any ATP generation.. ATP consumed - 2 so 4+6-2 = 8.
