Two questions on dividing polynomial functions ^^ How do I do: Let f(x) = 27x5 - 33x4 - 21x3 and g(x) = 3x2 and Let f(x) = 8x3 - 22x2 - 4 and g(x) = 4x - 3 Where I have to find f(x) over g(x)?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the first ones a monomial underneath; divide each term of f by it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the second could be approached the same way if need be; but they usually go thru long division for it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

themost general i spose would be to long divide it all

Alright... Could you do one of them out so I can see step by step how it's done? :/
