A circuit joins points A, B, C and D into a single square loop. The voltage drop from A to B is -5.2V, from B to C is 2.1V, and from C to D is 1.0V. If one were to measure the voltage from C to B, one would obtain: 2.1V -6.1V 6.1V -4.1V 4.1V -2.1V

since it's aclosed loop apply kirchoff's loop rule.total potential drop across the closed loop will be zero

oh sorry i didn't read the question carefully. it's a very simple problem.if u go from B to C u move 2.1 volts up.now if u go the reverse way u go 2.1 volts down.so now think what the answer should be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2.1 that what i had predicted

thnx

yes u r right
