It is still possible to get an A if you ace the rest of the course. Midterm is 30% and Final is 40% of your grade.

You can get a max score now of 100 - (29 * 30%) = 91.3

An 87 will still get you an A.

So if you finish all your homework and labs, you can miss (91.3 - 87)/40%=10.75 points on the final.
