Why does the heat flow from a hot object to a cold object that heat flows from that may cause materials to change temperature? Give examples.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It flows from a hot object to a cold object due to thermal equilibrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

say its winter and u open the door the heat would go out to balance out the temp inside and outside.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is equilibrium?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because its spontaneous.its like potential difference.heat will flow to the cold body until both are at same temperature in the same way as charge flows between two conductors until they are at the same potential

http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/thermo/thereq.html check here for equilibrium

Thx!! @Siddharth18 and @Brent0423 but the more better that my 7th grade teacher Ms.steele (carazy!!!) is going to understand is experimentX's

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But u all will get a medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i give to experimentX Sidd gives to Brent Brent gives to Sidd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i've already given it to X

OpenStudy (anonymous):
