This is what I get 5x^2 = 60 (divide 5 to both sides) x^2 = 12 (square root both) x = sq + - 12 Then i get a decimal. 3.46410....
what would be the answer?
Well, you're rounding to the nearest 10th, so your answers would be\[x=\pm3.5\]Since .46 would round to .5
