Choose a topic that strikes your fancy. Which topic do you know about the most? Which topic are you most passionate about? Once you have a topic, do some research about that topic. What are the issues within that topic? What issues do you know of right now? What issues do you want to learn more about? After some research, you should be able to answer the other questions.
