1. For the dilation, what was your scale factor? 2. For the reflection, across which line did you reflect it? 3.For the rotation, how many degrees was it rotated and in which direction? I posted the picture in the following comment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

scale factor of 2 reflection is across the x-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the rotation is by 90 degrees...either left or right, gives the same result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I should be more specific and say that the reflection is across the horizontal line since the lines are not labelled

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So for the dialation what should I put?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

2, y axis, 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I am rusty on my rotations. I just brushed up on it. answer should be 270 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.mathwarehouse.com/transformations/rotations-in-math.php drag the point to the bottom right quadrant and rotate 270 degrees to see this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what should i put for the rotation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because of tht particular shape the rotation should be simple.. hold your hand up and turn it side ways one turn is 90 degrees if tht work with your shape its also 90 if it a difficult shape it could take 180 degrees...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what would be the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think it thru you know the answer. if i tell you u dont learn from it :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 180?
