2 1/3 yr=________ft. I am supposed to convert units of length by using unit ratios. 1yd=3ft. My answer is 6.9ft. Is that correct?

if 1 yd = 3 ft and its 2 1/3 yds then 2 x 3 =6 then 1/3 of a yd is 1ft cus its 3 ft in a yd make sence?

Absolutely, the promblem I am having is this. Per the instructor, I am set this up as a ration and then mutiply. (2.3/1)(3/1). i come up with 6.9/1 or 6.9. So unless I set it up wrong, The answer would have to be 6.9ft.

well there really isnt anything to sett up you multipy 2 and 3 and then divide 3 by 3 and add them and its 7
