find the slope by taking the derivative and replacing x by 1 then use the point slope formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(1)=15+8\ln(1)=15\] so your point is (1,15) \[f'(x)=\frac{8}{x},f'(1)=8\] so your slope is 8 point -slope gives equation for the line
