This is the question Part 1: Create and provide the dimensions for two similar figures of your choosing. Part 2: What is the similarity ratio of these figures along with the ratio of their surface area and volume? Part 3: Show your work, either using the actual volumes or using the formula, that the volume ratio is true.
1.5 inches long 4 inches wide 12 inches high 10 inches long 8 inches wide 24 inches high 2.The first figure is half the size of the second figure so the similarity ratio would be 1:2 The first figure's surface area should equal 256 The second figures surface area should be 480 So i can find the ratio of these if i divide both by 4 it would be 16:30 and if i can divide it again by a different number (not sure if i can) it could go down to 8:15 If not then its 16:30 volume is 240 for the first figure and 1920 for the second 3:24 and to get that ratio i divided the numbers by 80 Is all the work i got for it so is it right or am i completely off?
Umm.. yeah. You're right with the question!
