does anyone know how to do compound inequality

hero (hero):

Just post it :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x+y \le4 and x-1>0\]

hero (hero):

When posting compound inequalities, put one equation above the other, like so: 2x + y ≤ 4 x - 1 > 0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

graphing helps; but its just a glorified system of equations, like Hero is showing ;)

hero (hero):

@amistre64, what are you doing here? Go help someone with a harder question :P

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) im just observing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to graph to hey hero anyone can help me

hero (hero):

@amistre is right. you'll have to graph this one, but before you do, re-write the graphs like this: y ≤ 4 - 2x x > 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know i have to graph im just confused on the probaly starting out

hero (hero):

This is not the best platform for showing how to graph systems of inequalities

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know how to graph for get the graphing

hero (hero):

If you know how to graph it, then you don't need any help, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

arg just forget it
