Find volume of a solid bounded byz=4-x^2 -2y^2 and xy plane.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it looks like when z = 0 we are inthe xy plane and its a circle about the origin of radius 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. So, how can i find the limits?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 4sqrt(2)pi

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it seems to me that it is symmetric, so if we find the part that is in the first octant we can multiply it by 4
