alright so we got -4x - 5 > -9 let us solve for x alright so let us add 5 on both sides to get -4x>-4 and also now keeping in mind if we multiply or divide by -1 we must change the sign so let us divide by -4 on both sides to get x<1 and this basically says we only use the point that are x less than 1 i will draw it now :)
