Which of the following equations represents the graph shown? f(x) = -x + 2 f(x) = -x - 2 f(x) = x + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since slope is negative, f(x)=x+2 will be out, 1 down 2 to go =)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

now just look at y int is it neg or pos?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = -x + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since its shifted to the right of the origion, the -2, will be out , so 2 down 1 to go! and the last one is the answer f(x)=-x+2. =)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

htc we can all just paste the answer the goal is to get them to understand why its the answer
