World War II was the single largest event in human history. Why did Hitler invade Poland in September, 1939, and why did Britain and France declare war on Germany over this act? Why was the Soviet Union caught unprepared for the German attack in June, 1941? How were the battles of Stalingrad and Midway turning points in the European and Pacific theaters respectively? How was the decision to drop the Atomic bomb made and where was it used?

Hilter was trying to take over the world as I'm sure you know. Taking over places gave him more control and he was also killing anyone that didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes. Britain and France promised Poland that they would defend them. Attempts were made to stop Hilter from invading Poland but failed, therefore Britain and France declared war on Germany
