Find 3 three-dimensional figures around your house. These can be anything from a soup can to the shower stall (Be creative!!). You need to pick at least two different shapes (ie, not all rectangular).

so find somethings cereal box, tennis ball coke can measure the dimensions... sketch the solids showing your measurements and then find the areas and volumes..

so the surface area of the can uses the formula \[SA = 2\pi r^2 + 2 \pi rh\] r is the radius of the circular base, h = height of the can
