how would you simplify log[a] a^x []= base number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would the answer be 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x by definition

I'm not sure if I understand your question properly... is it: \[\LARGE \log_a(a^x)=\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there anything on the right side... or this is just an expression that you need to simplify? if so... \[\LARGE \log_a(a^x)=x\cdot \log_a(a)=x\cdot 1=x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My pleasure xD
