find the length of the radius of a circle whose diameter has the given measure of 6inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

diameter= 2* radius therefore, if the diameter is = 6 inches it means that the radius is 6 inches divided by 2 = 3 inches :)

This becomes a lot simpler if you write the question as "What is the radius of a circle whose diameter is 6 inches?" "Length" and "given measure" just clutter it up.
