A professional baseball team averaged 30,000 fans for each of its 81 home games. What is the order of magnitude of the total attendance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For this problem all it looks like you have to do is multiply 30,000 by 81 to get the total attendance for the 81 home games. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I hope this helps. The answer is 2430000

well the answer I got anyways

The choices it gives is A)5 B)6 C)7 D)4

one moment

Alright so after you have the 2430000 you round to the closest power of 10 and then you count how many zeros there are from 2430000 you get 1,000,000 and there are 6 zeros so the order of magnitude is 6. I hope that helps sorry for the first misleading answer.

Thank you so much! and it's okay dont worry about it
