x^2 = 14x – 49.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

put them all on one side x^2 - 14x + 49 = 0 now factor them out x^2 - 7x -7x + 49 = 0 can you do the rest from there?

OpenStudy (tommo_lcfc):

x^2 - 14x + 49 = 0 (x-7)(x-7) = 0 (x-7)^2 = 0 x = 7 (repeated root)

No i Cant.

OpenStudy (tommo_lcfc):

Just put everything onto one side so you get "=0". Factorise the left hand side. There is a repeated root of x = 7 as in the comments above.
