I remember coming across that from some time ago. @BiomedStudent do you have any articles to support that? When I researched it a bit, I only found one, maybe two sources...leading me to believe it resembled more of a myth than science.

same, its a supposed area, to get ethics approval on that type of research would be v.tricky with that high a risk factor to human life
