B. John D. Rockefeller was an industrialist. There is no way he would support anti-trust laws that would hinder his business. Theodore Roosevelt was a famed "trust buster" but also famed for his conservation efforts. In his years in presidency, he signed legislation establishing 5 national parks. Carrie A. Nation is known for his efforts by going into saloons and tearing the place apart in support of prohibition. Woodrow Wilson argued that high tariffs hurt consumers and would help create monopolies that would also hurt the consumer. Thus, he lowered tariffs to allow for more foreign competition which would force domestic companies to offer competitive pricing.
