^^^^^^^ The Problem

OpenStudy (lalaly):

i see what u did there lol |dw:1335896304136:dw| first find the area of triangle 1 using \[Area_1=\frac{1}{2} \times base \times height\]\[=\frac{1}{2} \times 12 \times 8\]

OpenStudy (lalaly):

then find the area of the rectangle in the middle (2) \[Area_2=length \times width=8 \times 9\]

OpenStudy (lalaly):

then u find the area of triangle (3) \[Area_3=\frac{1}{2} \times 6 \times 8\] Last thing u add all the areas

OpenStudy (lalaly):

\[\text{total area}=Area_1+Area_2+Area_3\]

OpenStudy (lalaly):

now u do the calculations:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lalaly The answer would 144cm to the 2nd power?

OpenStudy (lalaly):

yup \[144cm^2\]:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alrighty then, Thank you :)

OpenStudy (lalaly):
