LAST QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
A trapezoid is drawn on a grid with vertices at P (-5, 7), Q (-2, 7), R (2, 3), and S (-8, 3). Trapezoid UVWX will be drawn similar to Trapezoid PQRS with side UV corresponding to side PQ. The point (2, -2) will be the location of vertex U and point (8, -2) will be the location of point V. What will be the coordinates of vertex X? Show all your work or explain your reasoning.
I am pretty bad with geometry, maybe (-4,-10)? I did Pythagoras to find the length QR, then I assumed that we would multiply all sides by 2 (PQ is length 3, UV is length 6), and found point W and then X. BUt I am not sure this is the way.
My questions the past 2 days are all geom! but yesterday you had every single one correct haha
Yesterday were trig problems :-). I am better at Trig than at Geom. because I use trig everyday and geometry not always, haha.
but from my geo course! haha but all the ones today? thanks
i will use your answer.
Well, I am not sure, as I said. But, well, go ahead :-)
