Essentailly, a hasty generalization is when someone makes a hasty conclusion without considering all of the variables - think of it as jumping to conclusions. A false cause is when someone assumes that there is a single, simple cause of an outcome when it may have been caused by a number of other, more complicated causes. Knowing the definitions, what kind of examples can you come up with?
