Look at the steps in the statement below and state weather the conclusion shown is correct. 10(x-1) =50 x-1 =40 Can you just explain to me what I need to do? I don't understand the question.

Do I need to explain that the variables are different?
You need to explain if going from 10(X-1) = 50 to X-1=40 is correct or not. Well the answer is... No It is not correct because you have to divide 50 by 10 not subtract. :)
