x - 2x = 3x - 27 solve for x. I have already done this problem half-way. I want to know if I am doing it right, and If i am, I can't figure our what to do last. here is what I have done: x - 2x = 3x - 27 -x = 3x - 27 -4x = -27

You are doing it right! You just have to divide both sides by -4 then you're done! so X = 27/4 :)
