This is about displaying data in a bar graph. So, To avoid decimals for the vertical scale,include (the thousandths) as part of the label. Then,what are appropriate values for the vertical scale?

First, figure out how many tickmarks the scale will have. Next, figure out what range of data your scale has to cover. Divide the second number by the first number to decide how much each tickmark should be worth. But what happens if that is a decimal? Well, I'm going to choose a whole number instead, but do I choose the whole number above that or below it? Well, if I choose the one below it, my scale won't be big enough to fit all of the data, so always choose the whole number above.
