Yup, that I mean, 120% in the final grade, i.e., if we score 100% of this test, we would only need 80% on the next to get 100% in the course. I know, it's kinda confusing, but think bonus questions and so on.

ours only offered one bonus this semester and it was worth 10% on the final test so possible 110%. that was one fourth  of the over all grade, four tests including the final, no quizes, no homework or participation grade.
