x^2-180=0 help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add 180 to both sides take the square root don't forget to write \(\pm\)

thanks!

yw the only glich is if you have to write in simplest radical form, in which case you have to say that \[\sqrt{180}=\sqrt{36\times 5}=6\sqrt{5}\]so you should write \(x=\pm6\sqrt{5}\)
