An airplane needs to maintain a constant difference between two radio transmitters. The transmits for the airport are positioned 50 miles east and west of the airport. A pilot is instructed to maintain a constant distance of 80 miles. Write an equation for the path the pilot must make.

I know it is an ellipse because it says it must maintain a constant difference. I just don't know how to get the formula.
