speak quickly so you dont bore your audience
Use language tailored to your audience. Here's my 2 cents worth: A speech is delivered in order to get an idea(s) across to a group of people. If you speak too quickly you may miss delivering the point all together. Often the mistake that we make it to use language too flowery or non-suited to the occasion. If we were to accept the delivery of our idea as the main purpose of the speech, our point in focus become getting it across to the audience.
They are all good strategies, except the first one. If you speak quickly, your audience cannot keep up with you and/or understand you.
