jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

idea ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

how do you think what can you factorizing out ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2(3x^2 + y)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you need the working?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

jeon -- step by step

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no . I just needed the answer because I got this really big one .. But now I know where I went wrong lol

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

and now is ok ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8x^(4)+12x^(2)y+2y^(2) --> 2(9x^4 + 6x^2y + y^2) --> 2 ( 3x^2 + y)^2 to double check, you can distribute the final answer -->2 ( 3x^2 + y)^2 and see if you get --> 8x^(4)+12x^(2)y+2y^(2)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes jeonjohn96 nice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! :)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

good luck bye
