I think it might increase because the water vapor would evaporate more rapidly, just like water boiling at a lower temperature at altitude.

yea but here in qn they ask a general qn dat if temperature drop suddenly then transpiration rate will decrease.. as transpiration process also occur to make its surroundiing cool too..
