If I am reading it correctly your terms are:
80/35 = x%
x/35 = 80%
80/100 = 35/x
35/100 = 80/x

Is that right?

You know that a fraction is just a representation of a "part" of something, right? And a percentage is also a "part" of something. So taking the first line: 80/35=x/100 and read it as 80 parts of 35 equals how much of the whole (100).

Had to correct for the terms.
