Parth (parthkohli):

Do you know what like terms are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i have been out of school for 2 years for health issues and i came back and they just threw this at me like i knew how to do it.?

Parth (parthkohli):

Okay, like terms are for example: -> 5y^2 and -2y^2 -> 3x and 4x -> 5 and 2 -> 3x^3 and 6x^2 They have the numerical coefficients different, but they have the rest of the expression same. They can be added or subtracted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so watt are you saying? (just curious)

Parth (parthkohli):

You have gotta add the like terms together :)

Parth (parthkohli):

Answer would be \[\Large 7u^{3} + 2u^{2} - 2u + 15 \]
