Three vectors are given: a = 2i - 3j - k b = 2i - j c = -3j + k Find a unit vector perpendicular to b and to a - c a - c = 2i - 2k

First . You need to take cross product of b vector and (a-c) vector. Do you know how to do that?

Yes. I skimmed over my notes trying to find the formula, but it seems I'm either skipping it or it's not there.
