Honestly, how I do these, is put in your calculator 4 and hit "=", then hit the ANS x 3 and keep hitting equals and writing the numbers down until you get your 9 numbers, and then add them all up. But they should be 4 12 36 108 324 972 2916 8748 26244, the addition of which = 39364
